Max Verstappen has no plans to ever leave the Red Bull F1 team. The Austrian racing team can count on the services of the Dutchman anyway until the end of 2023, but the eight-time Grand Prix winner has spoken out loud that he wants to sing out his career with his current employer.
Verstappen unfolds his plans in an Instagram interview with Wietze de Jager of Radio 538. After the Red Bull driver is asked whether he will stay with the team forever, there is a long silence, before the Limburger replies with a resounding "Yes". Verstappen then explains the silence: "I will stay with Red Bull. At least, it is not in the plans to ever leave."
The only twenty-two-year-old Verstappen also says that he can continue at the highest level. "If I continue to maintain myself physically, then I will be able to drive in Formula 1 until I am 40", says the driver, who also indicates that he has not yet reached peak performance.
