Monza's mayor Dario Allevi has already had a great day: the Italian circuit can prepare for a race without spectators on September 6, and has a contract until the year 2025.
“Yesterday I received an expected call from the president of the Automobile Club d'Italia, Angelo Sticchi Damiani. He confirmed that the Italian Grand Prix will be held in Monza on September 6". The event will take place behind closed doors, the city mayor announces.
Allevi was able to announce on Monday morning on social media that no new infections had surfaced in the city for the second time in a row. "It happened again", said a proud mayor quoted by SoyMotor.
