This weekend is filled with a lot of sim racing action with Max Verstappen, Nico Hülkenberg, Lando Norris and Nicholas Latifi, among others. Plenty Formula 1 drivers will take part in three eSports events, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Maximum F1 has therefore made an overview of the competition.
This Saturday, the first sim race is scheduled with Verstappen and Hülkenberg on the grid. It is the second time that the All-Star eSports Battle will be held on rFactor 2. The race can be followed live on YouTube and Ziggo Sport at 6 pm Dutch time and will also be featured in a live blog on F1 Maximaal.
Verstappen not yet scheduled to race on Sunday
Also on Sunday there is enough sim race content on the schedule. The evening starts with the Not The Bahrain Grand Prix, organized by Veloce Esports, where Norris, Latifi and Stoffel Vandoorne (former Formula 1 driver) will participate. This race will be held on F1 2019 and can be followed on YouTube and Twitch from 7 pm.
And if that is not enough, Formula 1 has created its own sim race to replace the Formula 1 races. Bahrain is also the host GP here. So far, only Latifi is on the program, but more names will follow. The race will start at 9 pm Dutch time and can be followed via YouTube, Twitch and Facebook. (Photo: Red Bull Content Pool / Getty Images)
